I was wrong =O

Okay I was totally mistaken >____< I'm totally hooked on Naruto. I can't stop watching it, even to the point where I watched thirty episodes in a day ... well actually more than a day, non-stop. I love Sasuke (duh), Neji (understandable), Kabuto (also understandable I guess) and Shikamaru (er...). The problem is, I only have about ten episodes left before I finish the 75 episodes my friend gave me, and I can't download/watch online. I want to see if I can find it on Cartoon Network, but I'm not sure ...

Today was 37 degrees celcius ... ridiculous! And on Monday it's back to hauling my fat ass out of bed every day at six to get to school ... mendokusee ... (recognise that? It's Shikamaru's catch phrase XD)

Today was boring

Two of my friends (who went to my old school, whaddya know) and I went to watch a movie today ... somehow that dragged on for seven hours ... The movie was okay. It was The Devil Wears Prada, and it was a good movie in my opinion, seeing as that kind of stuff isn't usually interesting to me. But for three hours we sat in the park and stalked people which wasn't much fun at all since we don't know where all of our old friends live ... so in essence we were walking around the whole time doing nothing.

Now I have the first 75 episodes of Naruto ... I'm not actually that interested in Naruto, but what the heck, I have the anime, why not watch it? XD

Yay! Some yummy anime/manga pics! There'll be some you recognise easily, and some you've never heard of ^^The second last one isn't from any anime at all, I think. She's just a random image I found.

I'm finally alone at home!

The reason I wasn't online yesterday was that I was at the beach with my friends. I feel kind of dumb for not bringing my swimming costume, but I really wasn't that much in the mood for swimming. I've never liked swimming in the ocean that much anyway ... but I suppose it would have been fun. It was a perfect day at first — sweet and sunny and oh so hot — but it soon got windy as hell when the southerly came on. I could see the tents and umbrellas blowing around ... it was hilarious I feel sorry for the people who own them.

If you can, you really must read Houshin Engi! It's such a cool manga, and although the characterisation is downright disgusting a little off, it's still great. The artwork is brilliant -
I love the shading in particular - and the character design is almost shoujo-ish, but not quite. But my favourite aspect would have to be the reference to the Chinese epic, fēngshén yǎnyì (which I'm typing in pinyin because this blog centre doesn't support foreign characters). Chinese mythology is always fascinating, especially this one.

I'm all by myself ^^ my father has gone to work so I can do whatever I want for the whole day. Isn't life wonderful? I want to play on the computer forever, but unfortunately I have an assignment to do (actually it's a group thing, which makes things even worse) by the first day back, so it's not all fun and games. Plus I have to study for my yearly exams, especially maths.

Tomorrow I'm not going to be spending so much time on the computer because I'm going out with some friends to watch a movie. At this point we haven't decided what we're going to watch, but I imagine we will when we get there. (I hope. My friends are indecisive people.)

I went to the library(s) again ^^ and I finally have the book I was looking for for half a year. Well actually it's two, but they're both part of a trilogy which I have only read the first book of, and was hooked by. It's called the Bartimaeus Trilogy (or something like that) and it sounds a little childish, but it's a cool story.

...

It's 10:51 p.m., and I'm sitting in front of the computer. I just read the first seven chapters of xxxHOLiC, and if I may say so, it's really really good. Tsubasa didn't keep my attention for quite as long, for some reason. Maybe it's the poor character design. Fai looks so ugly ._____________.llllll He's so tall and lanky, and he always looks like an old man ... I like Tomoyo! She's so cute <3 And I like Yuko's hair, for some reason.

I'm so obsessed with Fruits Basket T_T I'm even searching (unsuccessfully) for fanfiction to make up for the loss of the actual manga. BL or GL is good, I don't mind that, just as long as it uses the same characters >___< I'm currently reading a weird Yuki/Kyo fic. (Yes kiddies, that slashy goodness.) Well actually it's more of a twisted Yuki/Kyo/Akito threesome ... Don't even ask.
